Situated in a unique position in the grounds of Brantwood, overlooking Coniston Water and the Coniston Fells, Jumping Jenny has become a favourite place in the English Lake District to have lunch, tea, or an evening party. And you can arrive by water aboard the Gondola or Coniston Launch

There is a large sunny terrace, with superb views over the lake and fells. In winter, and on cooler days, there is a large log fire blazing away.

The atmosphere in Jumping Jenny is very special.

Since Gillie and Chris took over running the business in early 1991, Jumping Jenny has become a very popular venue for evening parties. So much so, that, in 1998, they could not pass by the chance of taking over Belmount Hall, a splendid National Trust property located nearby, which offered an even better venue for parties of all sorts, particularly weekend house parties, involving weddings, birthdays and other celebrations.

Belmount Hall was opened in late 2006, and has become increasingly popular, particularly as a wedding venue.
