For parties of more than 10, we offer exclusive use of Jumping Jenny for no extra charge beyond the cost of the food and drinks. Our maximum indoors is about 45, but with an awning on the terrace, we can accommodate up to 70.

After a cruise around the Lake, on Coniston Launch, or Gondola, with drinks and our delicious canapés, our guests enjoy a meal (buffet or served at the table) in the wonderful ambience of Jumping Jenny. We can suggest excellent live musicians for karaoke, ceilidhs, jazz, classical or disco music.

However, please do not feel restricted by these menus......... They are just some ideas. If, as one customer specifically requested for his 80th birthday party, you would like Beef Wellington - Boeuf en Croute - with the finest beef that our specialist butcher in Broughton-in-Furness can provide, just ask. If you would like a vegetarian curry, with all the trimmings, likewise. Within reason, we will cook whatever you would like.

As to sweets, there is on the menu food to die for - Gillie's Hokey-Pokey Ice Cream, Extra rich Chocolate Mousse, Double Chocolate Meringue, the famous Tarte au Citron, even Lemon Mousse - you will not find better anywhere. But, please, leave your 'diet' at home.

What about a cake to celebrate the occasion of your party? Gillie makes wonderful chocolate birthday cakes and wedding cakes.
